Playing 12 seasons for the Detroit Tigers, Brandon Inge moved to Saline from Virginia where he attended Virginia Commonwealth University. Saline is also where Lisa Bonder called home. Born in Columbus, Ohio and raised in Saline, this four-time title winning professional tennis player had many impressive career achievements.

Saline is full of museums. Depot Museum and Trail is a great place to start. Learn all about the railroad system in Saline and the owners of the property. You're even able to walk the trail along the rails! Another great historical museum to visit is the Weber Blaess School House. This one-room school house was built before Michigan became a state. Although where it is Located now is not it's original location, it was moved to Saline in 2002 from Lodi Township.
